The ECE@UNM 2009-10 Annual Report
ECE's 2009-10 Annual Report includes many new features, including feature reports about all 14 of the departments research thrusts as well as three affiliated research centers (the Center for High Technology Materials, the Mind Research Network, and COSMIAC). The research-area reports, written by the respective faculty members, demonstrate the significant impact of research conducted by scholars in ECE&UNM as the department continues to widen its network of collaborators and influence.
The report is also more data-focused than ever, with charts and lists of research awards and spending, patents, top-cited papers, currently active grants, funding by agency category, degrees conferred, and faculty distinctions.
A PDF of the annual report is here (4MB).

Landmark dates and events, including the program for the ECE building dedication in 1986 (which ribbon was cut with a laser), are recounted in A Brief History of the Department, where you will be treated to fascinating ECE trivia such as the official yell of the First Annual Engineers' Banquet in 1908, and learn who was responsible for the huge, white letter U that was visible for miles (and years) at the base of the Sandia Mountains.
