Abstract
In this talk I'll explore the possibilities of utilizing geospatial data for visualizing driving directions and image enhancement. Publically available geospatial data is becoming more common as companies such as Google and Microsoft race to digitize the world. Such data has potential to enhance the way we interact the world, to improve existing algorithms, and to introduce new methods of interaction. I'll discuss two such projects:
1) a novel way to previsualize driving directions to aid navigation to a new destination and
2) image enhancement of georegistered photos. Speaker Introduction
