This text is being created to put into a single volume practical and useful information that is needed for the field of logic design. It is intended to build upon knowledge already received concerning the area of logic design, and include information as to how to make that logic design practical and useful for real systems. For that reason, information is included for using ABEL to create logic in PALs and PLAs, as well as VHDL to represent logic for analysis and synthesis. Another intent is to use HyperText as much as possible, to be able to refer to other relevant places in the text, and to incorporate not only reasonable graphics such as logic schematics, but also animations and other methods available in the computer systems of today to illustrate the dynamic activities available in logic systems.
