Maintains quality of laboratory operations and performance of laboratory staff in compliance with accreditation standards, safety and environmental regulations. Provides technical expertise to faculty, researchers, and students, and responds to technical questions. Teaches and/or trains research protocols and methods, experimental procedures, laser safety, semiconductor processing, use of equipment such as scopes, detectors, and/or power supplies. Designs and plans laboratory experiments, ensures adherence to protocols and safety regulations.
