The UNM Advanced Cyber-Infrastructure Laboratory (formerly the UNM High Speed Networking Laboratory) is focused on the research and design of optical and opto-electronic cyber-infrastruture networks. The key areas of interest include network performance evaluation and optimization for metro/core networks, multi-domain/multi-layer networks, and optical access networks. Broader focus topics also include services and application design for Carrier Ethernet, virtual private networks, and telemedicine/telehealth.
