A new generation of Lobot can be seen in ECE's lower level now that Lobot Jr., Version 3.0, has been unveiled. On May 12, Mike Majedi, Mark Ziegler, Harsha Mangalore and Carl Raffa put the young bot through its paces down in L217. More on that can be found here. Two New Photo Albums Online -  3/31/03 - webmaster
There are two new photo albums available online for viewing, the first is from the African American Middle School visit to the IDMARS Lab, that can be found here. The second is the IDMARS exhibit at the School-to-Work Convention for all college bound students to come and look for a future career / major in college, that can be found here.

LOBOT Jr. is in its BETA testing phase -  1/29/03 - webmaster
The LOBOT Jr. robotics kit is currently in the middle of its BETA testing phase; this means that it is almost completely ready for distribution and that we are currently in the process of getting all existing bugs corrected. We are excited to be almost ready to unveil these kits and are looking towards a Summer 2003 release, in the month of May is when we will most likely start accepting orders for the kits. The cost will be approximately $400-500 per kit.
