About Me

I am a Ph.D. student and Research Assistant at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of New Mexico, in Albuquerque. I am working under the direction of Dr. Jim Plusquellic at the ECE department and Dr. Steve Suddarth at the Configurable Space Microsystems Innovations & Applications Center (COSMIAC). My research interests include VLSI design & test, FPGAs, and space applications. See Research for more information.

Academic Background

I began my higher education in the Fall of 2002 at the Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland. I was awarded an Associate's Degree in Computer Science, and an Associate's Degree in Mathematics.

I transferred to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in the Fall of 2004, where I was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Cum Laude, with a minor in Mathematics, on the 21th of December, 2006. I continued at UMBC for graduate study in Computer Engineering under the direction of Dr. Jim Plusquellic. I completed my Master's thesis in July 2008, and was awarded a Master of Science in Computer Engineering, on the 18th of December, 2008.
