Sudharman K.
Jayaweera received the B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronic
Engineering with First Class Honors from the University of
Melbourne, Australia, in 1997 and M.A. and PhD degrees in
Electrical Engineering from Princeton University in 2001 and 2003,
respectively. He is currently an assistant Professor in Electrical
Engineering at the Department of Electrical and Computer
Engineering at University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM. From
2003-2006 he was an assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering
at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at
Wichita State University. From 1998 to August 1999, he was with
the US Wireless Corporation in San Ramon, CA, as a member of the
Wireless Signal Processing Algorithms Development Group, where he
was involved in developing wireless geo-location and tracking
algorithms for the company's proprietary RadioCameraTM
technology. He a Senior Member of IEEE and an associate editor of EURASIP
Journal of Advances in Signal Processing. His research interests
include statistical signal processing, wireless communications,
information theory, cognitive radios and wireless sensor
networks.
