Participation - What you get out of the course is
directly proportional to what you put into it, including doing
assignments, attendance, reading, and practice.
Spirit of Collaboration -
Learn from your peers who have leveraged their strengths with
those who have greater knowledge and experience.
We are all in this together.
What can you expect from me?
Questions - The class time is the best time to talk, you
can interrupt me any time.
Contacts - Besides the class time,
you can send me email, and expect response within one business day
unless I am out of town.
Office Hours - I will try my best to keep my office hours.
E-Mail Protocols:
Check your e-mail at least twice a week.
Please always put "ECE536" in your subject field of your email.
Be as clear as possible, and as short as possible.
Never use Microsoft's WORD format to send email, I am not
able to read them. The plain text is the best format!

Check the course web page at least once a week.
There will be many relevant links you might find helpful.
Any possible cancellation of the class will be posted at
least two hours before the class time. If you drive long distance to
the school, you better check more frequently.
Handout Protocols:
All the important assignments and announcements are via
class handouts.
The class handouts are enumerated, making sure that you don't
miss anyone.
The class handouts are distributed at the lecture time once
and always posted on the class webpage.
If you missed the
class, you can always to print the new handout yourself from the web page.
You are responsible to read all the handouts carefully and follow
the instructions.
