Course considers design principles, implementation issues, and performance evaluation of system software in advanced computing environments. Topics include resource allocation and scheduling, information service provider and manipulation, multithreading and concurrency, security for distributed systems.

    Homework and programming projects are due at the beginning of class session on which they are due. Late programming projects will be accepted within 5 calendar days but with 50% PENALTY. No Late final project Will Be Accepted. No exceptions!

  Exams will cover material presented in class and online, programming projects, and homework assignments. Arrangements must be made at least 2 days in advance if you are unable to be present for an exam. Otherwise, a grade of 0 will be given for the exam.
