Course Description:
Survey of various levels of computer architecture and design:
microprogramming and processor architecture,
advanced assembly language programming,
operating system concepts,
and input/output via the operating system.

Grading Scheme
Homeworks and Quizzes: 30%
Midterm Exams: 30%
Term Paper: 15%
Final Exam: 25%
Homework is due at 5pm on Tuesday.
Late homeworks may only be handed in during weekdays and will lose
20% grade per calendar day late.
Homework assignments are individual projects, not group projects.
Include your name, student number, and course number
when turning in your homework.
You may turn in your homework to my office or send it to my
email address: wu@eece.unm.edu.
We will have two or three quizzes.
There will be two midterm exams, 15% each; and one final exam.
Exams will cover material presented in class and homework assignments.
Arrangements must be made in advance if you
are unable to be present for an exam.
There will be a term paper for this course, topics will be given later.
