Schamiloglu selected as editor in chief of ‘IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science’

Edl Schamiloglu, Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UNM, has been chosen as the editor in chief of IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science.
Schamiloglu was selected after an international search and announced by IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society's Publications Chair Paul Dressendorfer. The transition term is April 1-June 30, with the official term beginning July 1.
Schamiloglu succeeds Steve Gitomer, who has held that role for four decades.
